Biography

Dr Susmita Mishra Jaipuriya is considered one of the most inspiring women of India. Born in Rewa, a small town of MadhyaPradesh, she became well-known as the female Enterprenure. Dr Susmita decided to follow her father’s footprints and earned an undergraduate degree in biology and postgraduate degree in Biochemistry from APS University, Rewa. She completed her doctorate from RDVV Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh in the year 2012. Unable to find a job of her interest, she started working in Society for the Conservation of Nature, a registered society established by her father Dr S.N. Mishra. She completed few governments funded projects as principal investigator. She is still associated with this society as Secretary. She is Founder Director of Jaipuriya Institute of Fashion and Technology (JIFT) and CEO of International Design Academy (IDA), Rewa, which was launched in India recently 2022.The media took notice of her in 2023 when this inspirational woman was awarded the Bhushan Award 2023, Best Business Women of the Year 2022, India’s Iron Lady 2022 and felicitated by District Magistrate, Rewa. This inspirational woman is trailblazers in their chosen path. It is time to introduce her to the next generation to make sure her hard work and perseverance do not disappear into obscurity over time. Who knows, it might even inspire the new generation to explore new paths and make a name for themselves in the near future. After all, girls are no less capable than boys in achieving their dreams.
