About

 I am a molecular Plant Breeder. I have work experience in Wheat, Basmati rice, Pigeonpea, date palm, jatropha, simarouba, noni, etc. Presently I am working on small millets that include finger millet, foxtail millet, proso millet, barnyard millet. I have a long experience in teaching and Research in Agricultural Universiies. I have been working on transcriptomics and genomics - fragrance genes in basmati rice, gluten genes in wheat, Fe and Zn transporter genes in wheat and pigeonpea. I have handled many Interrnational, national and state funded projects.
