Ms. Erem Khan Nazir is the Founder and Creative Choreographer of Stage Skuare Entertainment, a Performing Arts company based in Dallas-USA & a co-author of a Best Selling Novel- The Shakti Awakening. Born and brought up in the slums of Santa Cruz-Mumbai, Erem was a carefree teen that loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her mother was her biggest supporter, motivator and believed that early training in arts and sports will help her daughter to flourish in the future. Confidence never left Ms. Erem’s heart while perseverance continued to rule her soul even when her extended family crushed her dreams of becoming a dancer, choreographer, and director. She started out as one of the youngest Associate Choreographers in Indian Film Industry in 2007 for the movie CASH, a multi-starrer Bollywood Movie. She went on to perform in several National and International Dance Shows like IIfa Awards, Zee Cine Awards, Star Dust Awards etc for major television production companies like Endemol (Bigg Boss), Frames (Nach Baliiye), Optimystix Entertainment (Comedy Circus) while continuing to assist as an Associate Choreographer for several Bollywood movies for several years. By far her one of the favorite experiences was teaching choreography to Priyanka Chopra Jonas for the song Albela Sajan from the movie Baji Rao Mastani. Her name is beautifully credited in the movie. Her interest and curiosity to view the world from behind the camera brought her close to Direction and Cinematography. She has choreographed and directed several music videos for production companies in USA. She was invited to represent India on multiple occasions as a Cultural Ambassador for International Dance Shows. She was also invited by United Nations to represent India as a Cultural Ambassador for conducting Dance Workshops in New York. After several years of success as a dancer, choreographer, director and writer she decided to use her Transformational and Impactful Leadership style to fuel her vision to create a Company called Stage Skuare Entertainment which aims to be a melting pot of diverse artists and cultures. Stage Skuare’s dance curriculum aims at exposing the kids to the origin of Indian classical and folk dances while inspiring budding dancers who want to pursue a career in dancing and entertainment. Her dance team at Stage Skuare Entertainment was the first Indian Group to perform at Half time show for Dallas Mavericks, an American professional basketball team based in Dallas. Her Dance and Life journey is shared through the opening chapter in the Best Selling Book Shakthi Awakening, which continues to be an inspiration for young girls and women across the Globe.
