My name is Lavanya Anthanna. I’m a playback singer and Music trainer hailing from Nizamabad, Telangana. Emerging from a conservative family, my father always wanted me to study well and gain good knowledge in my own stream. But as a music enthusiast i had my heart on music, i get to hear many compliments from friends and relatives about my singing. That’s when i started my musical journey with my mother’s support and joined Carnatic music classes. I had to manage my college studies and music career both simultaneously. With love towards music i have put lot of efforts in practicing it. Though it was late, i never felt discouraged about pursuing my musical career. ‘You can’t go back & change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending’. I believed in myself and decided to create a special recognition for me. I started my instagram account and decided to post my singing videos. One day i got an opportunity through instagram to record my song called ‘Maya chesesave’. I was extremely delighted to sing for a reputed hero from Telugu industry. And now that song has got 15 million views on YouTube. Immediately i got a chance to record other couple of songs. And then i started my teaching career in music by taking online classes for students from different countries. Students get to learn the divinity of Carnatic music, bhajans and chanting slokas. For the past few years, I’ve been diving into music, and I’m not just teaching it—I’m making it an exciting journey for my students. We don’t just play tunes; we explore the power of bhajans, which bring peace to the soul, and we learn slokas to connect with our rich culture. Learning music with me is more than hitting the right notes; it’s about building discipline, sparking creativity, and boosting brainpower. I’m not just a music teacher; I’m on a mission to empower young minds, making a positive impact through melodies, spirituality, and cultural understanding.
