Pragya Gogoi is a 21 year old multiple award winning author, poet and a current engineering undergrad hailing from Assam, Northeast, India. She made her debut as an author with her first volume of poems "Whispers of a Nyctophile" that not only became an instant Amazon bestseller in multiple categories, but also went on to bag numerous awards. Pragya holds the record of being the youngest Indian author to write a best-selling debut book in a span of just 3 days. She has also co-authored 11 other volumes of poetry and has written for manifold National and International magazines and platforms. She has been featured multiple times by leading national media houses like Hindustan Times, Outlook India, The Week, Zee5, Mid-day India etc as one of the top rising authors in contemporary Indian literature. Her debut book has frequently made it to these esteemed media houses' must read book recommendations. Pragya has recently made it to the list of 100 inspiring authors of India. Currently writing her next 2 books- a romantic thriller and a second volume of poetry, Pragya is a robotics enthusiast who designs and manufactures robots with her team for national and international robotics championships and has brought laurels to her college with remarkable international rankings in each of these championships. She is a trained singer and violinist, holding a degree in Hindustani Classical music and has done many stage shows, radio shows and TV shows previously.
