In this role, I have worked on strategies for India, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Malaysia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Japan to name a few. I have also participated in World Bank Strategy for India CSO discussions. I am passionate about issues affecting children, women and communities that are impacted by poverty. My visit to Baran district in Rajasthan and the visits to one of the villages where children were suffering from Kwashiorkor and Marasmus was life changing. It is this sight that changed my perspective in life. I have also undertaken project evaluations on project that was aimed to reduce maternity mortality rates in Ballia, Lalitpur districts in Uttar Pradesh. I have also travelled and lived in close proximity to community members in Dharmapuri district in Tamil Nadu and in Hyderabad. I have also exposed myself to projects in slums in Maharashtra.
