Greetings. I am Dr Divya Kumawar I am a Consultant Psychologist and Expressive Art Therapist with an experience of more than 17 years in the field. I have done my Ph. D in Psychology and Masters in Applied Psychology with specialization in Social and Counseling Psychology from Delhi University. I have done my doctorate on Subjective Well Being. I am trained in various Psychological Therapies. An artist by heart and a trained designer, I always wanted to relate Positive Psychology and Emotional Well being to Expressive Art. That's where in 2012, I started my concept of 'Kalpari' that talks about Psychological Well Being, Counseling and Expressive Art Therapy. Kalpari has names of my daughters, Kal- for Kalyani, Par-for Parnavi and I for myself. The idea and aims behind the concept: •To promote the need of prioritising our Mental Health, •Focus on Positive Psychology, •Make Counseling and Therapy accessible •Fight against the stigma associated with seeking help for Psychological Well Being. •Develop Expressive Art Therapy and it's application for overall well being. Since then, I have conducted multiple workshops and events to meet the aims of Kalpari. Along side I worked to establish myself as an independent Consultant Counseling Psychologist and Therapist. Seven years ago I moved to Bengaluru. The journey was paused but I restarted. I registered my company under Udhyog Aadhar in 2017. On the way, I received couple of recognitions for my work.
