Saraswati Education Charitable Trust was founded in 2008 by Ashmeet Singh , a researcher and leader in the women’s welfare community for poor, . In 2008 Saraswati began working with students from poor neighborhoods and now focuses on the particular needs of teenagers, especially girls. . Saraswati Education program provides educational enrichment through workshops, fairs, outings, and other events to poor youth who would not otherwise have a chance to learn English, how to use a computer, get health information and develop other skills that will prepare them for a better future. It then started a small school in Pune in a small bunglow and also gave free education to needy children . Now the school is a building and CBSE affiliated and the funds are utilized for Ashraam and DEaf and dumb schools.
