Social Work profile form 2007 to till date Associate with “Anand NGO  We work for the schools, students, People of rural areas, tribal and other needy people in the rural areas. We do work like:  Building washrooms and classrooms in the schools that don’t have them.  Providing schools with stationery and sports material.  Providing cycles to girls that must travel through long distances to go to school.  These cycles are then retained and given to the girls of the next batch after use.  Distributing footwear to small children & Also paying the fees for the higher education of the needy students who cannot pay themselves.  We give away sarees to widows every year on Women’s Day.  Conduct hygiene related sessions to school going girls and also provide them with sanitary pads.  We have also helped in the creation of computer labs in schools by providing  computers and printers.  We are in constant contact with all the members of our NGO; we explore rural areas in and around Pune, collecting information about the places where we need to provide help.  We are also in contact with the Sarpanch of the villages and principles of schools, etc. This way we get to know about when and where to provide help and what we are supposed to do
