I am a civil servant from 1996 batch of Indian Railway Traffic Service and at present posted as Chief Commercial Manager (Passenger Services) on Central Railway. I have received Minister of Railway's Award for excellence and General Manager's Award for meritorious service in Railways. I Have the distinction of being the first lady branch officer in Mumbai area for Railways Have been instrumental in sending several migrant laborers to their homes during pandemic by organizing train tickets for them and arranging bus travel from their place of residence to the station. I have so far run 43 marathons including 4 ultra marathons. I have had 4 podium finish in these runs. . I am a bureaucrat, marathon runner, writer, philanthropist, running an NGO by the name of "Margadarshan" along with my husband for teaching under privileged students for Civil Services free of cost.
