Biography

Hi I am Meena Lokhande, I have done my MBA in Social Entrepreneurship from NMIMS. I work for the cause of Sexual Harassment of women at workplace. My mission is to create safe workplace For Women and girls. I am actively involved in implementation of the new POSH Act - 2013 in the area of Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace and thus help the government in implementation of this Act. I help corporates and organisations to create awareness on creating a safe workplace for their employees by taking sessions on prevention of sexual harassment. I help them to deal with sexual harassment complaints, cases and issues. Also help them to form a suitable policy and establish a Internal committee in their organisatiins for the redressal. I also conduct awareness sessions in schools and colleges, churches, NGOs. So far i am connected with nearly 200 organisations, trained more than 200000 employees, handled 120-150 POSH cases. I am currently heading a resource mobilization department of Child Help Foundation. I am a former Director of Barbhaya Orphanage for Hindu Girls Former General Secretary of YMCA.

I am a freelancer. A training consultant in the area of POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace. I also working as a Head-Resource Mobilization at Child Help Foundation, a national level NGO. Pteviously I worked with YWCA of Mumbai as a General Secretary and with Barbhaya Orphanage for Hindu Girls as a Director. I have been asdociated with 50 major corporates namely ONGC, Baja, Taj Hotels, L&T Construction, Reliance, Jindal Group etc. I am also a visiting faculty at Bombay Stock Exchange Institute and Shalom Institute for Learning. I have been a award winner for GIWL Social Leader of the Year -2019
