Biography

: I have Pharmaceutical Graduation Degree from University Institute of Pharmaceutical sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2006. I was campus recruited by a Pharmaceutical company named Saurav Chemicals limited, where I was heading the marketing division for business development of the products manufactured and traded by Saurav Chemicals till 2009. Thereafter I joined Surya Pharmaceutical Ltd. where I headed the market of South East Asia for export promotions. Then I started my own Pharmaceutical Trading Company as a Managing Director by the name of Healthcare Pharma Trading Pvt. Ltd. from 2011 till 2015.Afterwards this company was restructured into a partnership firm with my husband Mr. Uday Uppal by the name of Healthcare Pharma Trading. Last year i.e. financial year 2019-2020 the Firm's turnover was around 1.25 Cr. This year we are expecting it to rise to about 1.5 Cr. I am also working as a Pharmaceutical Consultant for overseas companies having a Proprietary firm in my name Nancy Uppal which does an average consultancy business of about 45 lacs every year. In the personal front I am a mother of two small children, living in an extended joint family in Panchkula. I am an Optimistic person who believes to make the most out of each day and establish clear priorities before starting work

Business Details

Healthcare Pharma Trading, under my leadership achieved even greater heights year after year and last year i.e. financial year 2019-2020 the Firm's turnover was around 1.25 Cr. This year we are expecting it to rise to about 1.5 Cr.In this firm I am promoting and exporting pharmaceutical raw materials and finished products from Indian companies to various parts of the World. I have also assisted certain big & small companies in tapping virgin markets, providing them with a much needed window of global business expansion. My firm has even achieved in diverting bulk pharmaceutical products from Chinese exporters to Indian manufacturers and exporters purely on the basis of quality and on time services provided by my firm. We also helping Indian firms get tenders awarded by companies like Pharmaceutical Factory No 3, Which is one of the biggest state run company of Laos and Medical supply which is one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in Cambodia, these were totally untapped market for Indian Pharma companies which were earlier being catered by China. Healthcare Pharma Trading is also helping in developing of new proprietary drugs by assisting big pharma companies in finding and procuring specific raw material from regulated markets like Europe. Over & above this I am also working as a Pharmaceutical Consultant for overseas companies having a Proprietary firm in my name Nancy Uppal which does an average consultancy business of about 45 lacs every year. I am a mother of two small children, living in an extended joint family. I believe every woman can do wonders if given the opportunity and support, provided she has to work hard and channelize her time and energy into achieving her dreams. This can be done even by working from home with the present technological advancements.
