About

International Icon Awardee “Jivhala” is a Non-governmental Voluntary Organization Established in 2011. This organization is working in Yavatmal, Nanded and Hingoli districts of Maharashtra which are very remote farmer suicide affected.  This organization was established in 2011 through Women empowerment through Self-help group, Sawgat Stri Jnmache (Save Girl, Save Nation), Health, Education, Environment, Agriculture, Unemployment, Rural and Urban development, Irrigation An organization that works day and night to help hundreds of people in natural disasters from all walks of life. Presently Jivhala has been reached out to 16084 Beneficiaries from 141 villages of Maharashtra State. It is also a selfless organization working day and night for all the neglected sections of the society.

Project Details

Rahat Covid-19 Work

01) On behalf of the organization (1277-family) the entire grocery kit and hygiene kit were distributed to the very poor needy widow, crippled, suicidal farmer family.

02) The women self-help group members of the organization were trained to make masks and 6700 masks were made and distributed free of cost.

03) Volunteers of the organization spread awareness about the epidemic of Corona (Covid 19) virus by going from village to village.

04) Demonstrated clean hand washing and social physical intercourse

05) Distributed masks to Asha Workers and Anganwadi Workers on duty, Gram Panchayat level workers.

06) Journalists distributed masks and sanitizers.

07) Demonstrated how to maintain social distance by going to the market and bank premises.

08) Raised awareness about not spreading anti-social rumors about Corona.

09) Awareness about Corona Covid-19 through online (social media).

10) Efforts and help for migrant laborers to return to the village.

11) Lunch boxes were distributed to the very poor and needy.

12) The laborers provided food, water and fruit to the pedestrians

13) To take the citizens coming from outside the village to the government hospital for examination, to keep them in the quarantine center and to help them where necessary.

14) 2000 Pads were distributed to women in rural areas through menstrual awareness.

15) 51 blood donors donated blood by organizing blood donation camps.

16) PPE kits were distributed at government rural hospitals.

17) Emergency assistance to the family of a fire victim.

18) Jivhala Kanyadan Project (marriage) of a very poor needy girl.

19) Honor to a meritorious disabled girl.

20) Distribution of educational materials and masks to students in rural areas.

21) Educational guidance in rural areas.

22) The organization took responsibility for the education of the orphaned girl till the age of 18 years.
