I am a Telecom Expert in Nepal. I was been appointed as Managing Director of Nepal Telecom, a government owned company, by the Government of Nepal in 2014 for 2 years under open competition basis. Before that, I was working as Deputy Managing Director in Nepal Telecom. My contribution in Nepal Telecom mainly consist of introduction of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) service in Fixed Telephone lines and making infrastructure ready for 4G Mobile services. Likewise, expanding mobile services in all districts including all rural municipalities, introducing Fiber-To-The Home (FTTH) for fixed broadband, organizational restructuring, implementing Voluntary Retirement Scheme for more than 1000 employees, representing Nepal to the international telecom forum like ITU and APT are major achievements during that period. During my tenure as Chief of the organization, Nepal Telecom was been able to make highest revenue and profit in the telecom history for which Government of Nepal recognized me by awarding the Managing Director of highest Tax payer company in 2015 and 2016. I have been worked as Telecom Advisor for then Minister of Information and Communication Technology Mr. Gynandra Bahadur Karki during 2021-2022. I am Chartered Accountant by profession but Telecom Expert by nature of job i am engaged in. I am Telecom consultant in Nepal and carrying freelancing service for multinational companies.
