Dr. Paramba Shree Yogamaya is a Vedic Scholar and working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veda at Shri Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri, India. Her other fields of research include Indology, Epics and Puranas, Philosophy and Religion, and Contemporary Sanskrit Literature. Besides her academic inclinations, she writes poems, short stories, and essays mostly in Sanskrit, but also in English, Odia, and Hindi languages, and translates literature from these languages into Sanskrit. So far, she has published 08 books- one essay collection, one translated science fiction, one short story book, two poetry books, one Research Book in Sanskrit and two text books for MA Sanskrit Course. She has been awarded the 'Yuva Puraskar' for Sanskrit by Sahitya Akademi (India's National Academy of Letters), New Delhi in 2014 and 'Pt. Pratap Narayan Mishra Yuva Sahityakara Samman' for Sanskrit by Bhao Rao Seva Nyas, Lucknow in 2013. She has 33 Research Papers published in International and National Reputed Journals.
