Sohini Ghosh the most upcoming music talent of present era, born in a music oriented family in west Bengal. Her keen attention with music was very much astonishing to her family members and so many senior musicians when she was only four years baby.Her mother Smt. Aparna Ghosh (M.A in Music Rabindra Bharati University kolkata) played very important stand initiate her primary and very useful lessons in Vocal Music. After that renowned Guru pt.Sukumar Sautia of Kirana Gharana taken responsibility to taught her with father like affection and attention. Pt.Shyamal Lahiri also taught her some Bandish of different raagas. Sohini was selected as a student by the tough audition of Sangeet Research academy( kolkata),She drawn attention of distinguished Gurus of SRA at the time of learning. Mrs. Manali Bose at her residence taught Sohini for some time. At present Sohini is taking continuous talim from pt.Anand Gupta ji .very distinguished guru of the time kolkata. Sohini also getting training in kathak Nritya from very childhood. She is very much lucky to receive the assistance and proper guidance of Mrs. Sarbani Chakraborty. Mrs.Madhumita Roy and now under the the training of Mr.Ashim Bandhu Bhattacharya (Famous performer and trainer of Kathak Nritya) She obtained remarkable position both in "Sangeet Bivakar"(vocal)secured 3rd rank in all over world. And "Nritya Bivakar"(kathak)secured 2nd rank in all over world..from Bangiya Sangeet Parishad (west Bengal). So many TV channels inviting sohini for Indian classical and light classical performances. 1) 'Channel One ' placed her on "Divine Raagas" 2) "SrijanTv " light classical songs. 3)Digital concerts "Deshe Bideshe TV from Bangladesh. 4) A.I.R kolkata arranged "Sangeet Sikhshar Ashore" which being conducted by Pandit Ajay chakrabarty. The programme was continued for long six months in the year of 2017 in different slots. Sohini selected to assist pt.chakrabarty ji by presenting Bandish of different raagas. 5)Being charmed to listen the splendid presentation of sohini ,the programme executive of A.I.R kolkata recommended her to perform as a lead singer as well as Anchor of a popular programme "SREMOYEE" of kolkata Doordorshon.
