Biography

I am Ashutosh, Resident of Gurugram, Haryana, India, I am hearing impaired (100%) since birth, but I never allowed this to encumber my path to success and learning. I completed my schooling from Delhi Public School, Maruti Kunj, Gurugram, I secured my B.com Hons from Hansraj College, Delhi University and MBA from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. I am working presently with IndusInd Bank as Associate Manager. The journey of my life is not a bed of roses. I have always believed the fact that Nothing is Impossible in life and this thought has always triggered me to take new challenges in life. I have been a dedicated, sincere and perseverant person in my efforts to achieve my goal. I never considered myself inferior and my core strength was my confidence and my parents who never made me feel I was different. I have stretched my limitations to become my strengths and never let them to daunt me. I can’t say that ‘I never fail’, but I can, proudly say that I never quit. Regarding my impairment I behave as if I have none. I don’t believe that I am less than anyone but keep myself grounded that I am no special. Although my journey of life was not easy, but I certainly was enjoyable with this positive mindset. With strong determination and hard work, I have overcome the difficulties and along with academics I had an inclination towards acting and modelling. I was always impressed by the hard-working people in this field. Being impaired in hearing and speech, expressions were only tool to portray and show this interest of mine to people. I worked on this aspects over the years and fortunately IIM Lucknow provided me with the platform through the dramatics club Abhivyakti. This club provided me a golden opportunity to explore my hidden talent. All my achievements encouraged me to explore more of my potential and I participated in Beauty Pageant, it was my chance to challenge myself. The MS Beauty Pageant was organized for the first time for plus sized candidates and I won Mr India Plus title. I would like to tell every youngster that set small goals, conquer them and make these small victories foundation for bigger ones. I received Most Promising Model and Theatre Artist award from Blindwink India Excellence Award 2021. I am a recipient of Rashtra Prerna Award 2021 which will be conferred by World Book of Star Records
