Dr. Farah Ghaus is a distinguished medical professional and academician who has made significant contributions to the field of Anatomy. She was born on January 20th, and her astrological traits of Capricorn and Aquarius are reflected in her disciplined and innovative approach towards her work. Her father, Mr. Mohammad Ghaus Khan, is a retired Professor of Mathematics from a reputed Post Graduate College in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, while her mother, Mrs. Naseem, is a retired Head Mistress from a Primary school. Dr. Farah Ghaus has a sibling (Nazish) who is a famous food connoisseur in the United Arab Emirates, having completed MBA. Dr. Ghaus began her academic journey by completing her basic education in her native place and then qualifying PMT to pursue MBBS and MD Anatomy from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. Her passion for anatomy and dedication to teaching earned her a reputation as a renowned anatomist. She has been associated with the Department of Anatomy at the same institution as a Professor for over 20 years, during which she has garnered rich experience and contributed immensely to the field of Anatomy. Apart from being a Professor, Dr. Ghaus is also a member of the advisory board of “Inderbir Singh’s Human Embryology 12th and 13th edition” and a member of the editorial boards of many reputed journals. She is a life member of various anatomical societies and has been continuously published in Marquis Who’s Who World from 2010-2015. Dr. Ghaus' expertise in the area of foetal anatomy is particularly noteworthy. She has conducted extensive research in this field with numerous publications in international and national journals and has contributed significantly to the understanding of foetal development. Her book on "Development of maxillary sinus- A morphological study in human foetuses" is a testament to her expertise in this area. Dr. Ghaus is a highly sought-after academician and has chaired and moderated various scientific sessions in different conferences. She had also been an editor of the souvenir for the CME held in the Department of Anatomy. Her expertise in the field of Anatomy is well-recognized, and she has also reviewed many books including “Histology: Text & Atlas, 2/e, By Brijesh Kumar”. In her case, she has been blessed with four understanding men in her life, including her father, husband, and two sons. Her husband (Naeem) is a businessman and her elder son (Taha) is pursuing law, while the younger one (Tehreem)is in high school.
