DR.T.S. SUNITHA Presently working as a Clinical Instructor at NIMHANS College of Nursing, Bangalore. She is a vibrant personality a dedicated nurse educator known for high quality and skilled teaching in theory and Practical’s. She is creative, highly motivated and energetic and shows excellence in imparting knowledge and instilling positive skills and attitudes among emerging nursing students. The above mentioned has a rich experience in both Clinical and Teaching for about 24 years, and has achieved the Best Teacher award and also done World Record in Lincoln Book of Records. In addition she has also secured the Best Achiever Award as well. Is a recipient of the best Nurse Educator award - 2022. She has conducted numerous workshop, seminar, conferences, and published articles in national and international journals. She is currently serving as a mentor, guide and counselor for many nursing students. The nominee is currently student Nurses Association advisor at NIMHANS college of Nursing organizing various activities of the student body like inter college cultural activities, conducting and hosting programmes on world health days. A study on “Oral tobacco use among Bengaluru women” by the nominee was published in Deccan Herald dated January 7th 2023, that provided strategies for reducing substance use and depicted the negative health impacts. It also addressed common misconceptions about substance use. These are my accomplishments.
