I am Puneet Kaur Nagpal and I am working currently as Principal, Khalsa College Girls Sen Sec school Amritsar. I have been an educator for more than 25 years and have been a passionate learner throughout. I strongly believe in the Educate to upliftment motto. Ever since I have come to profession, my sole motto has been that education should be equal to all irrespective of their gender, economic status, caste or creed. An educated society is an ideal society and it's progressive in its approach. For many years, I have seen a patriarchal approach feeding a gender biased approach for girls especially if they come from economically constrained section. Through my school, I try and attempt to eradicate this stigma around the education of a girl child. Besides, I a staunch promoter of mental health and an environmental by profession. The times we are living in calls for a strong mental health with a clean and safe environment. I like to recognise myself as a woman of stance and substance.
